Ranch Rodeo metal print by John Glass. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. @ the Luna County State Fair, groups of ranchers gather for the real rodeo competition.
This one is called Heifer milking. Why? Out on the range when a heifer has her first calf, many times she wont claim the calf. She is scared and runs off and the calf dies. So the ranchers rope the new mother, pin her down and milk her for the much needed colostrum to feed the calf. They will pen up the calf with the mother until she claims the calf.
